What are we reading?
The current weather makes me gravitate towards bright, fun colors. I have two suggestions for our next meeting; both picturebooks have green covers (electric green 🪲 + apple green 🍏). It will be one rainy and grey weekend here in Göteborg, so I look forward to sharing those two books on Sunday.

This is a fun read from the perspective of an object, a pair of scissors with big eyes. The illustrations are made entirely of collaged cut paper, further inviting us into the perspective and world of the pair of scissors. ✂️

This one has an interesting background. The illustrations by Olle Eksell were originally published in 1961 as Edward and the Horse with text by Ann Rand. This edition has text by musician Lars Winnerbäck. Since this week is höstlov - I keep making a mistake in saying häst 🐎 instead of höst 🍂 This book has a häst in it, so I hope the more practice I have in reading, the better I will get at differentiating between ä and ö!
